Hello Everybody!

What does SEO mean?

S.E.O is an abbreviation for Search Engine Optimization.

What is SEO?

It is the use of many different techniques to make the ranking of different websites higher in different search engines so it can attract more related visitors.

What are Search Engines?

It is a programe (or you can say website) which gives you different search results related to specific data or keyword required by user.

For Example:

and others....

Why do we use
SEO?

We use SEO on our sites for both Users & Search Engines. It helps users to find related keywords or characters, and makes search engines easy to find the data on website. SEO helps search engine to find out that what each webpage is about and how it can be useful for the users.

How Search Engines Operates?

It operates by

  • Crawling & making an Index
  • Gives results by calculating relevancy

Crawl & Index

City Subway Systems

Different search engines needs a way in which they crawl the entire website & making different stops on the way to make best path available, just like a subway system in a big city.

Structure of Link of The Web Keeps All The Pages Together

With the help of links, search engines activates the robots/crawlers/spiders. These can reach quite a number of billions of interconnected documents.
Once there, they copy the codes & save these in their data, to be recalled later in search query. For achieving the target, which is, keeping billions of webpages & displaying data within few moments.
When a person searches anything, they demand the results instantly. Even One / Two seconds late can be the reason of disappointment. Therefore, these search engines works hard to give results as early as possible.

For example, I typed SEO in google search engine,
as a result it says, "About 497,00,000 results (0.18 seconds)"

Ever imagined, how can it get so many results just within few moments?
